Making Unique Wedding Invitations
The many pieces of your Custom Wedding Invitations
- Your Wedding Invitations succinctly explain the who, what, where, and when of your wedding ceremony. Our software generates Wedding Invitation Wordings in verse for a variety of needs-- wedding reception verses, groom or bride parents inviting wordings, second marriages & more.
- You typeset your addresses on the Invitation Envelopes-- both the return addresses on the invitations, & on the RSVP response card envelopes. Avoid abbreviations when addressing the envelopes, writing out cities, and streets.
- You will have the option of ordering matching Wedding Thank You Cards when ordering your wedding invitations. The Thank You Cards can be blank, to hand-write, or typeset with your message online.
- Save the Date Cards,Map & Direction Cards, Wedding Menu Cards, & more custom wedding printing products are available in our searchable online databases.
We offer custom Wedding Accessories & Wedding Favors online, including wedding gifts, custom matches, personalized wedding napkins, reception decorations, & more.
Wedding Invitation Etiquette & Tips
- Avoid abbreviation in your invitations, spelling out job titles (like "Judge" or "Doctor") and street abbreviations ("Street" and "Avenue" instead of "St." or "ave"). Non-professional titles, such as "Mrs." or "Jr," are acceptable etiquette.
- Use care with the phrases "request the pleasure of your presence" and "request the honour of your presence." The latter wording should be used for services in religious settings; the earlier should be used for non-religious ceremonies and party invitations.
- Write out the full names of your wedding guests, including middle names. Omit the middle name rather than using a middle initial and avoid nicknames.
- Avoid contractions to preserve the formal air of your invitations. Do not employ words like "wouldn't" or "don't" (spell them out).
- Do not include information on your wedding information about wedding gifts. Proper wedding invitation etiquette indicates that you should not say where you are registered for gifts, or that you would rather not receive wedding gifts. This information should be shared through friends.
